The Prostate Cymru ‘Big Walk’ was celebrating 5 year’s of the event this year and an amazing 462 people joined in on the celebration making it a record year for Prostate Cymru.
A number of celebrities offered their support for the event with Wales rugby captain and double British & Irish Lion Sam Warburton OBE, starting off the walk at the Principality Stadium. Walkers then proceeded on their 30 mile trek to the eventual finish spot at Kenfig Hill RFC.
This years event was like no other with extreme heat, burning rays from the sun, the monstrous hills and agonising blisters. But spirits were high and all of the proceeds went towards prostate cancer treatment and research here in Wales.
